Brief: This project involved the construction of a 3 level childcare centre including an underground basement car park. The site itself was previously used as a Liberty petrol station, which needed to be demolished. We removed and treated the underground fuel tanks and contaminated soils and remediated the site line with highest environmental standards. A vapour mitigation system was installed and processes for ongoing monitoring of ground water wells were put in place. Finally, we completed a full fit out of the childcare centre including play equipment and landscaping. In total, the site comprised 1000m2 of habitable area for the childcare centre including commercial kitchens, an internal lift and play rooms.
